Windsurfing and Kitesurfing

After 12.00 lovers of windsurfing and kite surfing start to wonder if the wind is strong enough to get on their board and sail away towards Crete with west wind. The spectacle is amazing for those lying on the beach.

Near the beach Camping Gythion Bay camp site offers free of charge a place where windsurfers can wash and store their equipment.

A surf school is 500m away from the camp site where anyone can take lessons and rent equipment from Thodoris.

Windsurfers and kite surfers should always keep a safe distance from the swimmers.
